Listen, as a parent, I know how much I want that "smiling at the camera" photo of my son, my husband and I. But also as a parent, I know our kids aren't doing anything we don't want them to. My approach to family sessions is to truly let the kiddos run the session. I'll take time to introduce them to the camera, it can be scary, I get it! I'll work with you to plan your perfect session. If your kiddos love a big "CHEESE!" then that's great! But if they don't, let's play their favorite game. Let's sing their favorite song. I'm fluent in Disney - I can go full blown Elsa mode if it helps, or bust out in a Miss Rachel moment too.
